Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
